Essteele was founded in Melbourne in 1950 by Silcraft, a company producing a variety of cookware ranges, including copper-bottomed stainless-steel pans. In 1996, Meyer Cookware Australia acquired Essteele. We combined Australian and Italian heritage, giving Essteele cookware the look of Italian cookware and the sound design and engineering smarts that set Australia apart.
